MyMBSA
The official application for the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).

Project Overview
MyMBSA provides citizens with a convenient way to access a variety of services from the Shah Alam City Council. The app's key features include online payment for cukai taksiran (assessment tax), kompaun (compounds/fines), and sewaan (rentals). Additionally, it streamlines various application processes, allowing users to apply for lesen (licenses) and permit, as well as make tempahan (bookings) for council facilities, making services more accessible to the public.
- Implemented reusable UI components with Redux-Saga data flows
- Integrated payment and application submission APIs
- Set up i18n and form validation across core journeys
Project Journey
Citizens faced fragmented access to council services with inconsistent user flows and long queues for payments and applications.
Led a frontend revamp with a component-driven architecture, collaborated with stakeholders for UX refinements, and integrated secure payment APIs with localized validation.
Reduced average task completion time by ~35%, increased online payments adoption, and received positive feedback from city staff on maintainability.
